Evangelion

An illustration inspired by the anime series Neon Genesis: Evangelion, depicting the titular characters, Shinji Ikari (center), Rei Ayanami (right), and Asuka Langley Soryu (left). The idea for this piece was to show how the trio are kids who deal with their own individual struggles as well as the burden of bearing the fate of humanity on their shoulders. The orange moon represents that shared burden and the surrounding mist below representing how they are trapped.
